Who & where you should write to in order to stop Wal-Mart
The Responses from the PWC Board of Supervisors Below is Supervisor Hilda Barg's Reply John, Thanks for sharing your concerns. I believe the property in question was zoned commercial use pre-1970 when conditional zoning came into play in the County. The Wal-Mart has a use by right and did not come before this Board of Supervisors. I agree with you that we do not need any fast food restaurants in that area. While we do not have a say in the matter, I hope we can attract a high-quality restaurant, which is much needed. The Wal-Mart will still have to comply with all of the local and state inspections, building development, transportation, environmental and signage. Hilda Below is Supervisor Connaughton's Reply Thanks for your e-mail. I will take your concerns into consideration when this gets before the Board. Best regards, Sean Supervisor Caddigan gave me a personal phone call, stating her opposition to the proposal as it stands. Let your views on this subject be known, contact the Board of Supervisors at: Chairman at-large Sean
T. Connaughton
sconnaughton@pwcgov.org I finally have the name and info on the developer’s lawyer. It’s Michael Lubeley from the law firm of Walsh, Colucci, Stackhouse, Emrich & Lubeley (so I guess he’s a partner) in the Woodbridge office. The info on him is as follows: Walsh, Colucci, Stackhouse,
Emrich & Lubeley
Village Square,
