Tiny Bear, Big Voice: Artheia E. Dingle and Coretta
Dingle created Precious Seed “Talking” Teddy Bears as they sat brainstorming in
their Alexandria, Virginia town home in Spring 2000 on how to invent a
non-traditional novelty gift that would plant the word of God into the lives of
boys and girls. After three years of diligently searching for a toy
manufacturer, artist, auditioning children for voice-overs, Precious Seed Teddy
Bears were born. The Bears are not your typical stuffed animals. Abraham and
Sarah, the first in the series are 12” “Talking” Teddy Bears that represent male
and female Biblical characters. By pressing the seed in their hand, the Bears
share short and sweet Biblical messages to encourage the young and the young at
heart. 2 AA batteries are required.
Artheia and Coretta are sisters who wanted to start a
company with a cause that would in some way impact their community and nation at
large. That’s why Precious Seed, LLC is a registered and proud sponsor of St.
Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the largest childhood cancer research center
in the world.
Portions of the proceeds from Precious Seed sales are donated to St. Jude.
Abraham and Sarah Teddy Bears are a limited
edition because they are just the beginning in a series of 14 Biblical
characters and an adorable Precious Seed product line. You’ll see that they are
keepsakes that children and adults can treasure. You can purchase your Precious
Seed Abraham and Sarah bears just in time for Easter from Wal-Mart located at
5885 Kingstowne Blvd. Alexandria, VA 22315. For more information about
Precious Seed, LLC you can e-mail Artheia or Coretta at
admin@precious-seed.org or call (703) 298-4983. The website address is
