Local Religious Events

- Saturday, OCT 31, 12-5 pm Harvest Parade & Fun Festival, Bring the Kids & your Dog in Costume, there will be a Parade, Arts & Crafts, a Petting Zoo, Fun Stations, Pumpkins, Pony Rides. Please bring a canned food item, the event is FREE! For more information go to the Occoquan Merchants Association website.

Ongoing Events:

- West Springfield Civic Ass'n, General Membership Meeting is held on the 1st Wednesday of month except Jan/Jul/Aug/Sept from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. at West Springfield Elementary School. For more information, call Dennis W. Thaxton at (703) 912-3568 or e-mail wsca2000@yahoo.com. Members live or operate businesses, primarily, in the area covered by ZIP code 22152. A family membership is $10 for the two-year period or portion thereof beginning in even-numbered years. (For example, our most recent membership drive, for 2002 & 2003, started 15 September 2001.)
